Executive Director, Montana Health Research and Education Foundation

The non-profit division of the Montana Hospital Association, MHREF, is accepting resumes for an Executive Director, here in the beautiful, capital city of Helena, MT.  The Executive Director provides vision and leadership over the current and future MHREF programs, its board and employees.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage programs
  • Pursue, secure, and implement grant/program opportunities
  • Oversee staff and budget

Desired education/experience/skills include:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, required, emphasis in health administration, public health, business or public administration, or field/profession relevant to healthcare and project management.
  • Five years of experience, or equivalent education/experience, including grant writing, and supervisory and management experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in written and oral communications, ability to investigate and solve problems, organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to work independently and with a team, and excellent customer service skills.

NC/SC AHEC Program Coordinator

The Montana Hospital Association is accepting letters of interest and resumes for a NC/SC AHEC Program Coordinator, here in the beautiful, capital city of Helena, MT.  The Montana Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) focuses on the development of a homegrown healthcare workforce committed to serving rural and underserved communities in Montana. We do this by building partnerships to improve the recruitment, education and retention of healthcare professionals.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Plans, promotes and executes key communications and outreach activities for pipeline programs (Grades 9-12).
  • Provides project leadership
  • Maintaining databases and spreadsheets
  • Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with partners across the state
  • Maintains social media platforms
  • Events Coordination
  • Requires up to 30% in State travel – two weeks in the summer for camp management

Desired education/experience/skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or AA/AS with equivalent work experience in health related discipline, education, public administration, social/behavioral sciences or other related discipline. Familiarity with healthcare, community organization, higher education, and/or public policy.
  • Experience working with students, preparing written and oral reports, managing projects and budgets, coordinating committees, and familiarity with grant-funded projects is helpful.

The salary range for this F/T position is $17.50 to $20.00/hour. Excellent benefits.

Communications and Outreach Coordinator

The Montana Hospital Association is accepting letters of interest and resumes for a Communications and Outreach Coordinator, here in the beautiful, capital city of Helena, MT.  The Coordinator plans, promotes and executes key communications and outreach activities in support of the association’s member engagement and external relations activities, including education, events, advocacy and media relations.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Marketing and Communications
  • Social Media
  • Events Coordination

Desired education/experience/skills include:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, required, communications or marketing degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in communications, marketing and/or outreach.
  • Demonstrated skills in written and oral communications, ability to investigate and solve problems, organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to work independently and with a team, and excellent customer service skills.

This position will require 5% travel. The salary range for this F/T position is $19.50 to $22.65/hour. Excellent benefits.
