Manager of Sales and Marketing

The for-profit division of the Montana Hospital Association, MHA Ventures, is accepting resumes for a Manager of Sales and Marketing here in the beautiful, capital city of Helena, MT.  The Sales and Marketing Manager provides professional level sales and marketing management to MHA’s current and prospective business partners and serves as the primary liaison between business partners and the MHA membership.

The MHA Ventures team works to help Montana healthcare providers improve patient care, reduce operating costs and strengthen financial viability by developing solutions with our business partners to advance operations of our membership and improve the health status of communities throughout Montana.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Drive sales and advance marketing objectives to meet financial goals and benchmarks of MHA Ventures;
  • Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with business partners and clients;
  • Create, maintain and update program marketing materials;
  • Manage contracts;
  • Facilitate business partner appointments using exceptional scheduling skills;
  • Work with clients to expand contract utilization within the MHA membership.

Desired education/experience/skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum Associates required, emphasis in business or healthcare related field.
  • Two to four years of experience with emphasis in sales and marketing, healthcare administration, or a field relevant to healthcare preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in written and oral communications, ability to investigate and solve problems, organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to work independently and with a team, and excellent customer service skills.

This position will require frequent in-state travel and occasional out-of-state travel.

South Central Montana Area Health Education Center (SCM AHEC) Director

Montana Hospital Association is accepting resumes for a Director’s position for the South Central Montana Area Health Education Center (SCMT AHEC). The SCMT AHEC Director is responsible for providing overall leadership, management, and direction of the South Central Montana AHEC Center located within the MHREF Foundation at the Montana Hospital Association, Helena MT.

In collaboration with other agencies and partnerships, this position coordinates AHEC activities within its geographic service area. Activities include recruitment and training of students into health careers; “pipeline” development of high school students interested in health careers; placement of health professions students in community-based clinical practice settings, support of students in post-secondary healthcare programs with a focus on inter-professional education, and facilitation of continuing education resources and programs, including mental and behavioral health education for health professionals, particularly in rural and underserved areas. In addition, the Director will provide supervision and development of its employees, the fiscal integrity of the operation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to stakeholders.

Required education/experience and skills include: Bachelor’s degree in education, healthcare, or a related field. Demonstrated skill in written and oral communications, supervisory experience, ability to solve problems, ability to work independently and with a team, and knowledge of healthcare workforce issues, workforce development and/or healthcare training programs. This positon will require frequent in-state travel and occasional out-of-state travel.

Education Coordinator

Montana Hospital Association (MHA) located in Helena, is accepting applications for a full-time Education and Conference Coordinator. Competitive salary and excellent benefits. Duties include: provide assistance to Director with logistical support to education programs of MHA Academy: planning and administration of conventions, in-person and virtual conferences, meetings, seminars, webinars; contracting with speakers, A/V, decorators, hotels, trade show vendors, entertainers; preparing budgets; marketing; managing registration, trade shows. Other duties include: designing brochures, pamphlets, marketing materials; advertising; and special projects. Must have: ability to work and collaborate in a positive team atmosphere and take pride in helping others; good organization and communication skills; experience using Word, Excel, databases, and desk-top publishing (InDesign and Illustrator preferred). One year certificate from college or technical school and 2-3 years related work experience in event planning and/or project coordination, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary range for this position is $16 – $19/hr.

North Central / South Central AHEC Coordinator

North Central / South Central AHEC Coordinator: Montana Hospital Association (MHA) – Full-time – Provide high-level project coordination and management of AHEC educational and training programs including Pipeline programs (Grades 9-12), CNA training program, Mental and Behavioral Health training programs, and the AHEC Scholars (post-secondary) educational program. The Montana AHEC focuses on the development of a homegrown healthcare workforce committed to serving rural and underserved communities in Montana. We do this by building partnerships to improve the recruitment, education and retention of healthcare professionals.

Duties will include but are not limited to coordinating the development and implementation of training and educational programs, tracking and reporting project activities; maintaining databases and spreadsheets; and building relationships with partners across the state.

Education/Skills required: Bachelor’s degree or AA/AS with equivalent work experience in health related discipline, education, public administration, social/behavioral sciences or other related discipline. Familiarity with healthcare, community organization, higher education, and/or public policy. Experience with working with students, preparing written and oral reports, managing projects and budgets, coordinating committees, and familiarity with grant-funded projects is helpful. This positon will require up to 30% travel – two weeks of travel in the summer required for camp management. The wage for this F/T grant-funded position is $20.00/hour. Excellent benefits.
