Quality Improvement Analyst

The Foundation of the Montana Hospital Association (MHA) has an opening for a Quality Improvement Analyst to help implement the Hospital Improvement and Innovation Network (HIIN) project; a federally-funded initiative to reduce patient harms and improve the quality of care in Montana hospitals.  The position will assist with collection, aggregation, reporting, tracking and analysis of patient safety and hospital quality data, and will serve as a resource to participating hospitals to meet defined project goals. The QI Analyst will also provide information and analysis to other HIIN project staff, assist with monthly program reports to HIIN funding entities, and collaborate on decision-making regarding best approaches to quality improvement and areas of greatest need.  Successful applicant will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; significant experience with data collection, reporting, and analysis in a healthcare setting, and will have excellent communication skills.  The positions reports to the HIIN Director.  Wage range is DOE, excellent benefits. Administrative Professional: Montana Hospital Association (MHA)

FT – Provide high-level administrative services and project coordination for multiple, ongoing projects in support of successful project completion. This position is responsible for reception duties. Duties include running errands; performing administrative tasks, such as photocopying, processing recycling, processing incoming and outgoing mail; coordinating, tracking and reporting project activities; preparing meeting minutes; maintaining databases and spreadsheets; and monitoring and updating web site information. Education/Skills required:  One year certificate from college or technical school and 2-3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, thorough knowledge of office practices/procedures and business English (spelling, grammar, punctuation); verbal and written communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.  Must have above-average organizational skills, be able to multi-task, pay attention to detail, be flexible and maintain a positive attitude.  Good interpersonal skills are critical.  Prior association, project management and/or database aptitude would be a plus.  Position is opened until filled; interviews begin after April 24, 2019. There is a wage range for this position starting at $15.11.
