MHA Celebrates 24 Years of Dedication from Vickey Simonson

This week at her retirement celebration the MHA Team recognized 24 years of dedicated service provided by Vickey Simonson.

Vickey served as Office Manager for MHA and provided governance expertise and support for our boards and councils, leadership for association operations and coordination for many complex association initiatives. At the heart of her work has always been the membership. She has impressed upon every one of her colleagues our mission of service to our members and has been an advocate for every one of our members, in often unseen ways.

Vickey leaves a lasting legacy at MHA and needless to say, she will be missed.  Please join me in thanking Vickey for her years of service to the members, and for her many contributions in our shared work to improve the health of our state. If you would like to share sentiments of appreciation, please send them to MHA and we will share your cards and regards with her.

Also this week, MHA welcomes Amber Dushin, CPA to the MHA Team as our Chief Financial Officer.  Amber comes to MHA from Anderson ZurMuehlen (AZ) where she served as Manager and Senior Manager at the Helena office.  While at AZ, Amber served as an auditor for MHA for almost a decade.  Her role as the Nonprofit Specialty Team leader at AZ provides MHA with extensive support for not only the association, but the Montana Health Research Education Foundation (MHREF) as well.  Please join us in welcoming Amber to the MHA Team.
