Register by July 24 for RHTP Stakeholder Advisory meeting
The summer 2026 RHTP Stakeholder Advisory Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The SAC serves in an advisory, non-voting capacity and provides guidance to DPHHS to support effective implementation of RHTP initiatives. Meetings are open to the public; community members, partners, and other interested stakeholders are welcome to participate.
Participants may attend the meeting virtually or in person, but all participants must be registered by July 24. To learn more and register, click here.
Facility data collection effort may impact allocations
MHA is asking every Critical Access Hospital and PPS hospital to report average daily census data to DPHHS. This single metric will establish the baseline for five years of RHTP reporting from DPHHS to CMS. Statewide participation is essential — if facilities don’t self-report, Montana’s overall RHTP funding could be reduced, and individual facilities that don’t participate may see their own funding affected too. MHA leadership is urging all eligible facilities to make this reporting a priority.
DPHHS requests that all CAHs and PPS hospitals submit average daily census data via this form. Questions? Contact Casey Driscoll at casey.driscoll@mtha.org or 406-457-8000.
