MHA serves a number of post-acute care and senior services providers, including hospital-based programs. In addition to Medicaid funding and workforce concerns experienced by other providers groups, senior and post-acute provider issues also include:

• Reduce state-level regulatory burden
• Increase affordable senior housing
• Reduce tax burden on Montana’s senior population
• Adopt a Uniform Guardianship Law
• Medicaid reforms
  • Medicaid-supported resources for Montanans that suffer from Alzheimer’s or related dementias
  • Medicaid provisions to allow a nursing facility to be an originating telehealth site
