WEBINAR: Sexual Assault Forensic Exam (SAFE) Services in Montana
Join the Montana Department of Justice Sexual Assault Response Network Program and professionals from around the state for an in-depth discussion on the current landscape of Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) services in Montana. This session will provide a “state of the state” overview of where and how SAFE services are currently available, key statistics on sexual assault incidence rates and forensic kit collection, and insights from the recent statewide healthcare survey on sexual assault response capacity.
The session will also review the current payment structure for SAFE services and discuss ongoing work by the Sexual Assault Response Network (SARN) Committee on funding, access, and quality of care across the state.
Following the presentation, the panel of program leaders will be available to answer participant questions and facilitate discussion on next steps for improving Montana’s coordinated response to sexual assault.
